Which decisions do you make on a first purchase?

How do you spot an original?
By the security code on the packaging. Fakes of the RandM Tornado are widespread and hard to spot from the outside. That is why Fumot gives every device a unique code that you check yourself. Why a small range to start with?
Because you do not know your flavor yet. A device with 12,000 puffs lasts about 40 days on paper at 300 puffs a day. If the flavor does not hit your taste, you have lost little. Which flavor do you take first?
A fruity one. It sits close to what most people like to drink anyway. Even after two weeks it rarely gets too much. Very sweet and unusual flavors are the worse way in. What do you do when the device arrives?
Five steps in about ten minutes, most of which you spend waiting. Check that the security label is intact. Remove the silicone plug. Let the device stand upright for ten minutes. Start with five to ten gentle puffs. Hold it level while you draw. Anyone who draws straight away burns the cotton. There is no undoing that. All the steps are in the Instructions.
What else should you know before buying?
