In daily life a vape needs three things: a protected spot when you are out, room temperature in storage and a charging cable before the battery is completely empty. Heat, wet and dirt in the port are what wear a device down day to day. Anyone who does not leave it lying in the sun, does not charge it overnight and carries it in its own bag has already done the main thing.

What applies to carrying, storing, charging and using it?

There is a simple rule for each area. The table sums them up. It applies to all eight ranges at RandM Vape Shop (randmvape.shop), because they all have the same build: built-in liquid, a lithium battery and a USB-C port. The rules for storing, charging and using are the same in our instructions, the frequently asked questions and the battery notice.

Area Rule Why
Carrying its own bag, not loose among keys and crumbs the mouthpiece and the charging port stay clean
Storing room temperature, out of direct sun heat and UV light are hard on the liquid and the battery
Charging charge in time, not overnight deep discharge and constant power shorten its life
Using hold it level, draw short and loose keeps the air path clear and is gentle on the coil

How do you carry the vape when you are out?

In its own bag or a compartment of its own. In a trouser pocket dust and lint collect in the mouthpiece and in the charging port. That makes the draw harder and gets in the way when charging. Do not sit on the device and do not leave it in the car. More on that is in the article How do you carry a vape?

Where do you store it at home?

At room temperature and out of direct sun. A windowsill, the bathroom and the spot next to a radiator are not good places. Heat and UV light are hard on the liquid and the battery. Devices you are not using yet, you leave in their packaging. The security code is printed on it. All the details are in the article Storing a vape properly.

How do you charge properly day to day?

Briefly and in good time. Charge it when the battery level in the display gets low. Do not wait until the device flashes. A full charge usually takes about an hour. Unplug the cable afterwards. Any ordinary USB-C cable fits. Do not charge unattended and not on the bed. The steps are in the Instructions.

What do heat and cold do to the device?

Both have an effect. Heat is hard on the battery and the liquid, and a car gets too warm quickly in summer. Cold slows the battery down and makes the liquid thick, and then the first puffs often taste harsh. In winter you carry the device in an inside pocket. More on that is in the Battery notice.

Where should you ask before you vape?

Anywhere you are not the one in charge. In a hotel the hotel decides, on a train the rail company, on a plane the airline and at work your employer. We do not tell you what applies where, because each place sets that itself. A quick question in advance saves you trouble. The devices are intended for adults.

What do you do when the device is empty?

Hand it in. Every vape contains a lithium battery and does not belong in household waste. Take it to a recycling centre or another collection point and do not open it beforehand. Tape over the contacts on the underside first. You find a new range under Disposable vapes and in the overview of the RandM Tornado models.

Frequently asked questions

Better not in summer. A car gets too warm quickly, even in the shade.

How often do I have to charge?

Whenever the battery level gets low. How many puffs one charge delivers, we have not measured.

Do I have to keep the packaging?

For as long as you use the device, yes. The manufacturer’s security code is printed on it.
