2. What we do not do

We do not use a pixel from a social network and we do not track you across other websites. We run no advertising here. We only measure statistics if you agree in the cookie notice. Section 5 says what starts then.

Fonts, images, styles and scripts are all on our own server. When you open the site your browser therefore makes no connection to Google Fonts, to an external delivery network or to a social network. The exception is the cart and the checkout, where the card service from section 7 loads its scripts from Stripe.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for advertising.

3. If you are only looking at the site

Every page view is recorded in a log on the server. It contains your IP address, the date and time, the address you opened, the page you came from, your browser and your operating system as well as the amount of data transferred.

We need this information in order to deliver the site, to find faults and to fend off attacks.

The shop runs at Infomaniak Network AG, Rue Eugène Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias, Switzerland. The servers are located in Switzerland. Infomaniak processes the data on our behalf.

4. Cookies

A cookie is a small file your browser stores for us. Without your consent we only set the ones the shop needs in order to work:

  • rm_cookies, 180 days. Remembers your choice in the cookie notice so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit.
  • woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart, until you close the browser. This keeps your cart as you click on.
  • wp_woocommerce_session_…, 48 hours. Connects your browser with your cart on the server.
  • rm_bekannt, 2 days. Only set when you enter your email address at checkout or open a link from one of our emails. Remembers that, so we can match products you look at to your address.
  • wordpress_logged_in_… and wp-settings-…, only if you sign in to your customer account. This keeps you signed in.

You can change your choice at any time. The Cookies entry in the footer is there for that.

If you accept all cookies, the cookies of the two tools from section 5 come on top. If you did not agree and still find cookies whose name starts with _ga, they come from our earlier shop at the same address. You get rid of them by deleting the cookies for randmvape.shop in your browser.

5. Statistics, only if you agree

If you choose the button “Accept all” in the cookie notice, two tools start. Before that neither of them loads and your browser does not connect to them.

  • Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It counts page views, where visitors come from and orders, so we can see what works in the shop. For this the cookies _ga and _ga_8QYYGKQT1V sit in your browser, both for two years.
  • Microsoft Clarity from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. It records how far you scroll, where you click and where you stop. That is how we find places where the site gets in the way.

Both services process the data on our behalf and also on servers outside Europe.

If you pick only the necessary ones, neither tool loads from your next page view on. You can delete the cookies that are already set in your browser.

6. If you place an order

For an order we need your name, your delivery and billing address and your email address. Your phone number is optional. Added to that are the items ordered, the amount, the order number, the payment status and later the tracking number.

We need this data in order to fulfil the contract with you, that is to pack your parcel, to ship it and to write you an invoice. Without it we cannot deliver.

We keep order data and invoices for as long as the tax and commercial law periods require.

7. Payment

You pay in advance or by card. With advance payment you get our bank details after the order and transfer the amount at your own bank.

If you pay by card, that runs through WooPayments from Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. The payment itself is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. You enter your card number in a field belonging to that service, it does not pass through our server. We see the last four digits, the card type and whether the payment went through. We do not offer PayPal or Klarna, so no data goes there.

With advance payment we see the incoming payment in our account, that is your name, your IBAN and the reference. Our bank gives us these details.

8. Shipping

We ship with DHL. For that we pass your name and your delivery address on to DHL AG, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn. If you have provided an email address or a phone number, DHL can use it to inform you about the delivery.

Without passing this on, no parcel reaches you.

9. Your customer account

You can order without creating an account. If you do create one, we store your email address, your addresses and your previous orders. Your password is not held by us in plain text, only as a check value from which the password cannot be worked back out.

You can have your account deleted at any time. Write to us at info@randmvape.shop for that. Orders that we are required to keep are not affected by this.

10. Reviews

If you leave a product review, we store your name, your email address, your text and the stars. Publicly visible are only the name you give, your text and the stars. We do not publish your email address.

11. Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address and the time of the sign-up on our own server. You first get an email with a confirmation link, your sign-up only counts once you click it. The mails are sent by Amazon SES from Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, 1855 Luxembourg, through a data centre in Frankfurt. Your address goes to that service for this and it processes the address on our behalf.

Once you are signed up, you also get emails besides the newsletter that match your visit and your orders:

  • up to three reminders within three days if you left the checkout without ordering
  • a reminder if items were left in your cart
  • an email about a product you looked at
  • an email about your purchase two days after an order
  • a reminder when your device will soon be empty by our estimate
  • an email if you have not ordered for 90 days

For this we store, together with your email address, what is in your cart or which product you looked at, with product name, quantity and price. If you have already given your first name, we store it as well so the email can address you. We know your address if you are logged in to your customer account, enter it at checkout or open a link from one of our emails. We create these entries even if you have not signed up for the newsletter. In that case you get no emails. When you order, we delete the entry right away, otherwise 30 days after the last change. For the emails after an order we use the data from your order described in section 6.

We count on our own server whether you open an email and which links in it you click. When you confirm your sign-up and when you click a link, we also store your IP address.

You can unsubscribe at any time through the link at the end of every email. An informal message to info@randmvape.shop also works. Unsubscribing also ends the reminders.

12. If you write to us

If you send us an email or call us, we store your message and your contact details in order to reply to you. We keep such matters for as long as we need them for follow-up questions.

13. Protection against spam

Our forms contain a hidden field that only automated programs fill in. The check runs on our own server and sends nothing to third parties.

14. Who else receives your data

  • our host, which operates the servers
  • Google as our mail provider when you write to us or get an order email
  • Amazon Web Services for sending our newsletters and reminder emails
  • WooPayments and Stripe if you pay by card
  • Google and Microsoft for the statistics, but only if you agreed
  • DHL for the delivery
  • our bank and your bank for the transfer
  • our tax adviser and the tax office, as far as we have to present invoices
  • authorities, where we are legally obliged to do so

Nothing goes beyond that.

15. Your rights

At any time you can:

  • request information about which data we have stored about you
  • have incorrect data corrected
  • have your data deleted, as far as we are not required to keep it
  • have the processing restricted
  • take your data with you in a common format
  • object to the processing
  • withdraw a consent you have given us

A message to info@randmvape.shop is enough for that.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg.

16. Changes

If something changes about the shop or about the providers behind it, we adapt this text. The date of the current version is given at the top.
