How to Use
How to Use and Charge Your RandM Tornado
Five steps from unboxing to your first puff. After that you also know how to charge it right.
Before Your First Puff
Ten minutes of patience save you the burnt taste
Most problems with a new RandM Tornado happen in the first few minutes. Puff right away and you burn the cotton before it has soaked up any e-liquid. From then on the device tastes burnt, and nothing undoes that.
Using it is otherwise simple. No buttons, no settings, nothing to fill. You only need to know what to do before the first puff and how to draw.
The steps below apply to every RandM model range, from the Fumot Digital Box 12000 to the Eco 4in1 80000. If you just unpacked your vape, work through them once from top to bottom. It takes ten minutes, and you spend nine of them waiting.
Getting Started
Setting up your device
Is the security label intact? If not, do not use it. You check the code in the Authenticity Check.
Tilt the device sideways and pull the plug off.
That lets the e-liquid spread evenly through the cotton.
Short and loose, not deep and not hurried.
That keeps the airway clear.
Charging
Charge before the battery runs flat
Every RandM model charges over USB-C. A few habits make the battery last noticeably longer.
USB-C
Any ordinary charging cable fits. A strong power adapter gains you nothing, the device only draws what it needs.
About an hour
That is how long a full charge usually takes. If it takes much longer, the cable is almost always the reason.
Not overnight
Staying on the charger shortens the battery life. Unplug the cable once the device is full, during the day too. More about the battery is in Battery Safety.
Do not run it flat
Charge before the battery is completely empty. Deep discharge harms it more than any other habit.

When something is not right
If the problem stays, write to us. You should not open or repair the device, it is not built for that. More answers are in the FAQ.

Device
Blinking, charging and the display
Usually the battery is empty, or you drew longer than the cutoff allows. Charge the device over USB-C and take shorter puffs afterwards. If it blinks when you plug it in, that is the charging indicator and not a fault.
Try another USB-C cable and another power adapter first, that is almost always it. Blow the port out carefully and give the device 30 minutes on the charger. If it still will not charge, write to us with a photo or a short video.
One bar shows the battery level, the other the e-liquid level. When the battery drops, you charge it. When the e-liquid reads zero, the device is empty and belongs at a collection point.
Flavor and runtime
Burnt taste, refilling and puffs
Because the cotton was not soaked with e-liquid on the first puff, or because you draw too long and too hard. Let a new device stand upright for ten minutes, then puff short and loose. Once the cotton is burnt, the taste stays.
No. The e-liquid is sealed in, there is no tank to fill. USB-C only charges the battery, so you can use the e-liquid down to the last puff.
That depends on your puffs per day: 15000 puffs divided by 300 puffs a day is around 50 days. Draw longer and harder and the device is empty sooner. How to work out your own number is in the guide to puff counts.
